Sundsvall Mosquitoes basebollag fick med sig ytterligare en seger för säsongen då serieledarna Sundbyberg Heat kom på besök. Publiken bjöds på två jämna och spännande matcher, där andra matchen kunde avgöras först i extra inning.
The second game was the opposite story from the first. Sundbyberg got an early lead and were up 5 half way through the game. We slowly closed the gap and tied it up in the 8th giving ourselves a chance to win. Unfortunately, in extras, our opposition put up a few runs and were able to shut us down in the bottom half of the 10th.
Great team effort overall. Tough to lose that second game after fighting back, but great win first game.
Great job by Erik Marqvardsen and Linus Sjölund off the mound today. Both threw very well. Pär Axelsson also had a great day at the plate and played solid defensively in multiple positions.”
Efter ett kortare uppehåll väntar nästa matcher lördag 20 juli, då vi tar emot Rättvik på hemmaplan.
